Milling and paving will begin in the area between Sheep Creek Rd., Geist Road on-ramp and Chena Pump off-ramp. A new traffic pattern will be in place beginning 9am, Friday, 26th. The Chena Pump Exit Ramp will be closed during the hours of 7pm – 7am as needed (possibly 3 nights). A detour will direct traffic to Airport Way. The expected completion date for this phase is July 31st.
Please use extreme caution when entering the work zone and new traffic pattern. There will be various types of heavy equipment, haul trucks, utility work, concrete and asphalt removal and replacing operations. Ground vibrations may be experienced. Due to the nature of the equipment being used, vibrations may periodically be felt in the ground near the work zones. Be aware that these vibrations will not cause structural damage to existing residences or businesses, but may not be suitable for unstable or detached items in buildings. It is advised to secure any fragile of loose items from areas in buildings near the work.
Personnel will be in the area during construction operations in order to ensure safety. Access for Emergency services and pedestrians will be continuously maintained to the best of our abilities. Please use extreme caution when approaching.
