Update: 09/03/2019

Secon and the Alaska Department of Transportation will be working on Front, Mill & Stedman St from Grant to Deermount this week.  Crew will be working from 3pm to 6am during this phase of construction. There will be no detours on Front Mill or Stedman Streets today, Tuesday 09/03.

No Parking Notice – Front, Mill & Stedman St- Road Striping

There will continue to be no parking in various areas of the construction site from the tunnel on Front St, to Mill St, through to Tatsudas on Stedman St. Cars will be towed! This will continue until striping is completed on the project.

Detour on Mill St – Northbound Detour Wednesday 09/04 3pm-6pm

3pm-6pm there will be a Northbound Detour on Stedman St WEDNESDAY 09/04 from 3pm-6pm. Northbound traffic will be diverted from Stedman to Dock, then Grant St.  Southbound traffic will remain on Mill St, but lane shifts will be in place.

6pm-6am there will be a Northbound Detour on WEDNESDAY 09/04 from 6pm-6am. Northbound traffic will be detoured up Deermount St at Tatsudas, then follow Park Ave to Bawden St. Southbound traffic will remain on Stedman St, but lane shifts will occur.

Bus Stop Closures

There will be intermittent bus stop closures on Front, Mill & Stedman as we work on striping the road through the project.

The safety of the traveling public and our workers is our main concern. Please watch for flaggers and be prepared to stop

There will be changes to traffic patterns, pedestrian traffic, parking and access in this area, so please follow all signs for detours and lane adjustments.
